At Ameztoi they have perfected the cod croquette, using the best fresh ingredients from the sea. The cod, which is caught in nearby coastal areas, is cooked very slow using authentic natural farmhouse milk, which is the only way to create a bechamel sauce that is home-made and very smooth. Each cod croquette is topped with a home-made grated bread, providing it with a very crunchy texture.
Ameztoi’s cod croquettes are a classic on any table.
Ingredients:
Pasteurised whole cow MILK, grated bread (WHEAT flour, water, WHEAT gluten, salt, olive oil, yeast, diphosphate rising agent and sodium carbonate, paprika extract colouring), cod (Gadus Morhua) (12%) (cod (FISH, water and salt), WHEAT flour and WHEAT starch, olive oil, preparation for breading (EGG albumin, salt, dextrose, guar gum thickening agent and spices), shallot, butter (MILK derivative), pasteurised cream (cream (MILK) and carrageenan stabiliser), metilcellulose gelifier, parsley and sodium ascorbate antioxidant.
Storage and Care:
- Refrigerated: Fry and ready
- Cooking method in the fryer: Remove the product from the package and dip in plenty of oil at 356ºF (180ºC) for 5 minutes, without overloading the fryer/pan. Let it sit for 2 minutes for the heat to set in.
- Contains gluten, egg, fish, milk and milk derivatives. May contain shell fish, mustard, sulphites and mulluscs.
